The role
We are looking for a Senior Design Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will lead the design strategy for our Product Fundamentals group. You will act as both a coach and a practitioner, balancing high-level leadership with hands-on design work to ensure our products are intuitive, inclusive, and effective. Whether you are based anywhere in the world, you will play a vital role in shaping how we scale our design maturity and operational excellence.
Core responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 2 to 5 product designers, fostering a culture of high performance, creativity, and professional growth.
- Serve as a player-coach by spending 40% of your time on strategic discovery and prototyping, while dedicating 60% to team development and operational oversight.
- Drive the UX vision for 3 to 4 cross-functional squads, ensuring we meet our goals for efficiency and quality while embedding growth design practices.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in Product and UX Design, with a proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments. We are looking for someone who excels at systems thinking and can demonstrate real-world impact through their portfolio. You must be fluent in Figma and comfortable using prototyping to drive alignment across teams. We value candidates who are collaborative by nature and have experience working closely with data, engineering, and product partners to build scalable solutions. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
Compensation and benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional and personal well-being. This includes:
- Remote and hybrid work flexibility, including a work-from-anywhere scheme.
- Generous paid time off, including 27 days of holiday plus additional days for life events, volunteering, and company-wide wellbeing.
- Medical insurance and life insurance coverage.
- A free gym membership and a dedicated mental wellness budget.
