At ABC Labs, we are dedicated to the belief that access to stable money is a fundamental human right. We built the Reserve Protocol, a permissionless platform on the Ethereum mainnet and Base L2, to help people combat hyperinflation by creating asset-backed currencies known as RTokens. We are looking for a skilled Senior DeFi Engineer to join our protocol team and help us expand our reach to new regions and verticals.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage smart contracts to support our protocol.
- Develop and maintain zaps to improve user functionality.
- Lead testing and integration efforts for new releases.
- Support protocol governance processes.
- Assist with occasional frontend integrations to ensure a seamless user experience.
Must-haves
- Senior-level engineering background with a focus on backend systems and blockchain technology.
- At least 5 years of professional experience using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with the EVM.
- Proven production-level experience in a Web3 or DeFi startup environment, or deep personal immersion as an active user.
- Strong familiarity with DeFi concepts, including yield farming and decentralized exchanges.
- A security-first mindset, as we maintain extremely high standards for our protocol.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Availability to work during most of a standard US workday, regardless of your physical location.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience writing Solidity.
- Fluency in Spanish, as a significant portion of our team is based in South America.
