The opportunity

As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining the backbone of our platform. You will work alongside our database administrators, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure our data systems remain scalable, secure, and high-performing. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys tackling complex data challenges and wants to influence how we design and optimize our architecture to meet evolving business needs.

A day in the life

• You will manage and optimize over 47 SQL Server instances while designing robust data pipelines using tools like SQL, SSIS, and Redshift.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain cloud-based data platforms on Azure and AWS, ensuring our CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments run smoothly.
• You will act as a data custodian by enforcing security standards, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, and mentoring team members on database development best practices.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of experience in data engineering or SQL development. You possess a deep understanding of T-SQL and have a proven track record of working with very large databases. Your technical toolkit includes expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Redshift. Because we operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you should be a strong communicator who can translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Proficiency in English is essential for this role, as you will be working closely with a diverse, international team.
