The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Hungary. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the quality of our cloud-native microservices and complex data platforms. You will take ownership of developing scalable automation frameworks, with a specific focus on data validation and the reliability of our data lakes. By working closely with our development and QA teams, you will ensure that our sports technology ecosystem remains robust, accurate, and ready for the global stage.

A day in the life

• You will design and build scalable automation frameworks to validate complex data pipelines and APIs, utilizing tools like Pandas and Python to ensure total data integrity.
• You will collaborate with our development teams to implement automated testing strategies for microservices, focusing on Java and Spring Boot architectures.
• You will integrate your automated tests directly into our CI/CD workflows, ensuring that every build is validated and ready for seamless deployment.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in data quality and test automation. You thrive in cloud-native environments and have a deep understanding of how to maintain high standards in complex systems. Your toolkit includes:

• Expertise in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and validation.
• Proven experience with SQL and AWS analytics services, such as Glue and Athena.
• A solid grasp of Java, Spring Boot, Pytest, and Postman.
• Strong communication skills in English, allowing you to mentor teams and clearly explain testing methodologies.
• A proactive mindset, always looking for gaps in existing processes and implementing improvements that foster a culture of quality.
