The opportunity
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will sit at the vital intersection of product development and data strategy. Your work will directly shape how our users interact with our platform by transforming complex datasets into intuitive, actionable features. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of data-driven solutions, ensuring that our insights engine remains a powerful tool for our customers. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys translating business goals into technical models and seeing those models come to life in a production environment.
A day in the life
- You will design and deploy sophisticated machine learning and statistical models that answer critical business questions, such as identifying potential investment opportunities.
- You will partner closely with product managers and engineers to translate user needs into technical requirements, ensuring that every feature we build provides real value.
- You will manage the entire feature delivery process, from initial brainstorming and data exploration to final integration into our live product.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with at least four years of experience in data science, specifically in building and launching machine learning models. You communicate clearly, making it easy for both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand the "why" behind your data. You are fluent in Python and comfortable navigating big data environments using tools like SQL. While you are a strong analytical thinker, you also have a product-focused mindset that helps you prioritize features that truly impact our users. Experience with recommendation systems or time series analysis is a significant plus, and you are comfortable using standard office software to keep your projects organized.
