About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will analyze complex issues through data and design, develop, and maintain the algorithms and software solutions that power our platform. You will have the autonomy to plan and organize your own work while staying deeply involved in the full development lifecycle, from initial brainstorming and prototyping to deployment and maintenance. This is a hybrid position based in our Copenhagen office.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate real-world business challenges into mathematical models, statistics, and functional algorithms.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders and developers to build, test, and deploy robust software solutions.
- Mentor and guide other team members while contributing to our culture of continuous learning and technical innovation.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for solving problems through data. Your qualifications should include:
- A degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, or physics.
- Extensive practical experience in software development and data analysis.
- Deep theoretical or practical knowledge in areas such as classical statistics, data mining, ETL processing, or machine learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Scala or Python and experience with data processing tools like Hadoop or Google BigQuery.
- Proven experience mentoring team members in a professional setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English to facilitate collaboration across our global offices.
