The role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in the United States. As a senior member of our data team, you will play a critical role in creating the systems, processes, and dashboards necessary to support our scaling operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly influence our ability to innovate in the robotics space.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement robust software solutions to collect, organize, and retrieve data from our fleet of autonomous robots to ensure high performance and data integrity.
• Develop actionable business insights by creating reports, models, and visualizations that support both our internal teams and our customers.
• Partner with our Product, Engineering, and Operations departments to define data requirements and build models that enable advanced analytics and machine learning.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with an advanced degree being a plus.
• Proven professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role where you have used data to drive strategic business decisions.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• A solid background in data governance and ensuring data quality.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the communication skills required to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle and data visualization tools is highly valued, as is any previous experience working within the robotics industry.
