About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Core Data Science team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to combat fraud using both traditional machine learning and generative AI. You will be responsible for prototyping intelligent systems, uncovering deep insights from behavioral data, and working alongside our product and engineering teams to deploy high-impact solutions. As a senior member of our group, you will also take a lead role in defining model architecture, tackling complex adversarial challenges, and mentoring other scientists on the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments and simulations to measure the business impact of product changes.
- Evaluate and prototype new machine learning and generative AI technologies to identify malicious activity.
- Investigate adversarial threats and build robust strategies to detect and mitigate emerging fraud patterns.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in data science and a passion for solving difficult technical problems. We look for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a data scientist within a technology-focused environment.
- Proven ability to develop models and extract insights from structured or sequential data, particularly user activity logs.
- High proficiency in Python and SQL, along with familiarity using big data tools like Spark or Snowflake.
- A deep understanding of machine learning techniques and industry best practices.
- Experience managing the full data science lifecycle, from initial analysis to productionizing pipelines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
- A self-starter mindset that allows you to thrive in ambiguous situations and prioritize effectively.
