The role
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join us on a full-time, hybrid basis in Canada. This is a senior-level position where you will serve as a key partner to our product and engineering teams. You will play a vital role in shaping our platform by building data-driven features and helping our leadership team make informed, strategic decisions.
Core responsibilities
- Utilize data analysis and science to solve complex business challenges across various departments.
- Develop and implement metrics to measure the real-world impact of machine learning models, such as time saved for our users.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to move data science models into production and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong background in data science and a collaborative mindset. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience working with various statistical and machine learning models.
- A proven ability to break down intricate business problems into manageable components.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
