We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our expert team, where data science is not just a support function but a core driver of our innovation and growth.
What you'll be doing
- Design and implement production-grade machine learning algorithms, including systems for fraud detection, dynamic credit risk modeling, and large-scale causal inference.
- Utilize diverse, large-scale datasets to optimize customer acquisition, underwriting, and overall user experience through advanced techniques like neural networks and reinforcement learning.
- Partner with stakeholders across the company to identify high-impact opportunities where machine learning can improve our product suite and guide business strategy.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in quantitative analysis and a passion for solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- An advanced degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, economics, or engineering.
- At least 4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Scientist, including relevant research experience.
- Deep proficiency in Python for modeling, analysis, and visualization.
- Experience applying a variety of statistical techniques to large datasets while understanding the practical trade-offs of each approach.
- A collaborative mindset and a strong bias for action.
- Bonus points for familiarity with tools such as Sagemaker, Spark, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
