You will play a pivotal role in making sophisticated investment strategies more accessible and affordable for everyone. What you'll be doing
- You will formulate project plans with clear milestones and translate complex statistical results into actionable recommendations for our business stakeholders.
- You will collaborate across teams to identify key initiatives for our Investing area, championing the role of data science while applying high standards for mathematical rigor and software development.
- You will guide project execution through a mix of hands-on work and delegation, while also identifying opportunities to automate repetitive manual tasks to improve team efficiency.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in both mathematics and software engineering. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related Natural Science, paired with at least 6 years of professional experience in data science.
- Deep proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams to sharpen project requirements.
- A genuine desire to mentor junior team members by demonstrating technical excellence and clear communication.
- While not required, prior experience in financial services or a solid understanding of finance basics is considered a strong asset.
What you'll get
