What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Data QA Engineer to join our Data Science team. This is a full-time, remote position designed for a seasoned professional who is passionate about data integrity. In this role, you will be the backbone of our quality assurance efforts, ensuring that our analytical tools and healthcare data products remain accurate, reliable, and consistent as we scale.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data quality framework while continuously optimizing our processes to handle new data sources efficiently.
- Validate the integrity and accuracy of our data across various databases and products, using machine learning techniques to automate and enhance our testing capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis, identify anomalies, and ensure our solutions align with business requirements.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a strong communicator with a technical background and a keen eye for detail. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or quality assurance, ideally with exposure to healthcare claims data.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for the purpose of data validation and automation.
- A solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and complex data pipeline architectures.
- The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear feedback for stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
