By joining our team, you will help us scale our go-to-market functions and drive sustainable growth through innovative, data-driven solutions.
The role
We are seeking a Senior Data Product Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position designed for a delivery-focused professional who is ready to take ownership of our data product roadmap. Whether you are based in Canada, the U.S., or anywhere else, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we collect, manage, and leverage data to deliver value to our customers.
Core responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, specifically focusing on procurement and supplier management needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including data scientists and engineers, to define requirements, prioritize backlogs, and execute within an Agile framework.
- Conduct thorough build-versus-buy analyses and serve as the primary subject matter expert for the data sources powering our platform.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong blend of technical proficiency and product strategy experience. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in data product management, specifically with products involving firmographics, financial data, or corporate classification systems.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Data Analytics.
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL, Excel pivot tables, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
- A proven track record of managing conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a sharp focus on project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between highly technical internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders.
- Deep familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Compensation and benefits
We believe in supporting our team members both professionally and personally. As part of our commitment to your well-being and growth, we offer:
- Equity compensation to ensure you share in the success of the company.
- Unlimited vacation policy to encourage true work-life harmony.
- Comprehensive health coverage, including dental insurance and vision insurance.
- A dedicated learning budget to keep your skills sharp.
- A 401k plan with employer matching to help you plan for the future.
- A fully remote work environment with a provided home office setup and work-from-home support.
