What is this role?
We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position designed for someone who is passionate about building applications that manage operations on a global scale. You will play a critical role in our engineering department, helping us refine our data infrastructure and push the boundaries of what our platform can achieve.
What will you do?
- Collaborate closely with our product, operations, and engineering teams to integrate new applications into our existing data framework.
- Modernize and enhance outdated system components to ensure our platform remains efficient and high-performing.
- Conceive and develop novel functionalities that expand the capabilities of our products and provide deeper insights for our users.

- Deep expertise in Java development and a strong background in Big Data and Open Source technologies.

- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka to ensure seamless data integration.
- The ability to design complex workflows using tools like Oozie or Airflow.
- Familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach, as you will be working across various departments.
- Fluency in English.
