We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our expanding team and help us transform how organizations digitize their processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain our data platform to ensure the delivery of high-quality, timely data.
- Plan and execute the expansion of our data infrastructure to support company growth and evolving analytical requirements.
- Establish and uphold internal standards for coding style, maintenance, and best practices within a high-scale environment.
- Develop and manage robust data pipelines connecting internal databases and SaaS applications.
- Write clean, performant, and maintainable code while keeping system documentation up to date.
- Tackle complex technical challenges and implement DataOps philosophies across all projects.
- Extend our enterprise data model and collaborate closely with Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts to drive operational efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging advancements in data engineering to ensure our systems remain at the forefront of the industry.
Must-haves
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or Apache Beam.
- Expertise in pipeline orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Apache NiFi.
- Strong understanding of message brokers, distributed streaming platforms, and database management (SQL, NoSQL, and open formats).
- Familiarity with development tools including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, alongside cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Solid grasp of data privacy, security, algorithms, data structures, and modeling.
- Practical experience with DataOps, Data Lake, Data Mart, and DataMesh principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to create clear technical documentation.
Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience with the AWS ecosystem, specifically Redshift, Glue, S3, EMR, DMS, QuickSight, or MWAA.
