The role

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer on a full-time, 100 percent remote basis. The position calls for someone with senior-level experience who is ready to design and maintain production-grade data systems that power AI and machine learning initiatives.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines and solutions that run efficiently on hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure while remaining scalable for a large customer base.
• Apply best practices in AI and ML development so that every pipeline is secure, maintainable, and built on the exact infrastructure that will host the prediction models.
• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, production-ready data architectures.

Skills and experience

You will need at least five years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer in high-caliber environments, plus three or more years working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and container orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes. Strong command of software development practices-testing, continuous integration and delivery, automated deployment-is essential. You should be comfortable working independently, possess an intermediate-to-advanced level of English, and demonstrate clear communication skills across technical and business audiences. Experience with data warehousing, relational databases, Apache Spark, or Azure certifications in cloud development and architecture is viewed as a plus. Candidates located within three hours of CET are preferred.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers a salary range of 40000 to 70000.
