We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help us shape the next generation of digital products.

What you bring

In this contractor role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support project leads on data strategy and implementation. You will be based remotely, working with a diverse group of experts to modernize data platforms and solve complex challenges. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside data scientists, architects, and business analysts to define requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Analyzing and documenting existing system processes to identify gaps and create detailed data flow maps.
• Recommending data governance best practices and database design standards to align with business objectives.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, specifically within data warehousing, management, and governance. You should be highly proficient in SQL and NoSQL environments, with deep expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline development. We require commercial experience using major cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, as well as hands-on experience with tools such as Databricks. You must be comfortable using Python for automation and data manipulation, Shell Scripting for job control, and Git for version control. Strong communication skills in English are essential, as you will need to articulate technical concepts to both internal teams and clients.
