Senior Data Engineer at TripleLift

We are TripleLift, an advertising technology platform dedicated to elevating digital advertising through high-quality publisher partnerships, actionable data, and smart targeting. Our technology processes over one trillion ad transactions every month, helping major brands connect with audiences across display, native, online video, and connected television. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. In this role, you will help shape our high-volume data architecture, ensuring our systems remain scalable and efficient as we build the next generation of our products.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust, high-throughput data platform architectures capable of handling hundreds of billions of daily events.
• Develop the infrastructure necessary for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading by utilizing tools like Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including product managers, software engineers, and analysts, to identify process improvements and translate complex business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Expertise in Spark and its associated APIs, alongside strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Deep operational knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EMR, and RDS.
• Proven ability to work with SQL, relational databases, and NoSQL stores like Elasticsearch or Apache Druid.
• Experience managing unstructured and semi-structured data formats, including JSON, Parquet, and Avro.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to support geo-distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.
