The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our DevOps department. This role is truly the cornerstone of our business, as you will be responsible for bridging the massive, fast-paced data feeds from our trading platform to the rest of the firm. Your work will directly support critical functions across the company, including risk management, market surveillance, business development, and the creation of new financial products. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our data remains consistent and reliable, which is essential for our continued success as a 24/7 global exchange.

A day in the life

• You will design and implement enhancements to our data lake, data warehouse, and pipelines to ensure they remain highly reliable and consistent.
• You will work on improving the query capabilities of our large historical datasets by utilizing industry-standard tools and thoughtful data aggregation.
• You will collaborate with both technical and business units to ensure that data representation meets the needs of the entire organization.

Who you are

You are a highly competent professional with at least 4 years of experience in the data engineering field. You have a deep understanding of the differences between OLAP and OLTP databases, and you know how to structure data to balance storage, performance, and usability. You are comfortable building and troubleshooting complex data pipelines, and you have hands-on experience with technologies such as AWS Redshift, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. You are fluent in English, possess a strong sense of responsibility, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your technical toolkit includes experience with tools like Terraform, PostgreSQL, Parquet, and Iceberg.
