What you'll be doing

• You will design, build, and maintain ETL processes for BigQuery and MySQL, ensuring all work aligns with strict privacy and governance standards.
• You will take ownership of data quality by diagnosing and resolving issues within our existing pipelines while developing robust cleansing and validation workflows.
• You will collaborate closely with our engineering team and Senior Data Analyst to optimize SQL queries for performance and refine our overall data architecture.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in data engineering and a passion for building reliable systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 7 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a specific focus on ETL processes and pipeline maintenance.
• Expert-level mastery of SQL, including hands-on experience with BigQuery and MySQL.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services and Google Analytics 4.
• Experience working with Customer Data Platforms like Segment, as well as programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and PHP.
• A solid educational foundation, typically represented by a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve complex data integrity challenges in a collaborative, remote environment.
