Role at a glance
We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a full-time, remote position. This role is open to candidates located anywhere. You will be a key member of our engineering team, reporting to the Head of Engineering and working to define our data vision, architecture, and daily development processes.
Your impact
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of data pipelines, connecting our systems with internal, partner, and client endpoints.
- Build scalable, reusable data models and libraries while optimizing our existing patterns for maximum speed and performance.
- Take full ownership of data quality, security, hygiene, and compliance requirements across our entire platform.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software development and data architecture. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience working as a data engineer in low-latency B2C or B2B environments.
- Deep expertise in both SQL and NoSQL solutions.
- Hands-on experience with managed architectures such as BigQuery, Firebase, Elastic, or Snowflake.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies on GCP or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, and the full Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with version control and tracking tools like GitHub, GitLab, and Jira.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
