We are looking for a passionate professional to help us build the infrastructure that makes this mission possible.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, well-tested data models using dbt.
- Develop and maintain robust ELT pipelines while ensuring high levels of reliability and observability across all workflows.
- Write performance-optimized SQL and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks within our data pipelines and query execution layers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 36 months of experience in a senior-level capacity. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- 5 to 7+ years of experience in healthcare data engineering or analytics engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and strong fundamentals in data modeling.
- Extensive experience with dbt and modern orchestration tools.
- Proven track record working with cloud data warehouses, specifically Snowflake, including query optimization.
- Comfortable working with the command line and modern engineering standards, such as version control, CI/CD, and code reviews.
- Experience with Python for automation and pipeline development is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS services and high-volume ingestion tools is a plus.
Location
This is a remote position, and we welcome applicants from anywhere.
