What you bring

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will join our Data Platform team to build the infrastructure that powers everything from hardware reliability to machine learning. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates anywhere. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with hardware and software teams to define, collect, and curate the data necessary for advanced analytics and debugging.
• Developing and maintaining robust ETL pipelines that transform raw robot logs and telemetry into structured datasets using tools like Apache Spark and AWS services.
• Designing derived datasets and transformations to support fleet operations, system health monitoring, and business metrics.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced professional with at least five years in data engineering. You should possess strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, along with deep expertise in distributed data processing frameworks like Apache Spark. A successful candidate will have a solid grasp of data modeling, schema evolution, and data quality best practices. You should be comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, specifically the AWS data stack. We value candidates who can communicate effectively across technical teams and who have a keen interest in robotics, data engineering, and cloud technologies. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
