We are Verantos, a company dedicated to generating high-accuracy Real-World Evidence for the healthcare industry. Our platform integrates complex data sources, such as Electronic Health Records, to help the world's largest biopharma companies conduct clinical studies and pioneer new therapies. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our collaborative team and help us build the infrastructure that makes this vital research possible. What you'll be doing
- You will design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines specifically tailored to handle complex healthcare data.
- You will optimize our data architecture to ensure that our systems remain reliable, efficient, and capable of maintaining the highest standards of data quality.
- You will serve as a technical leader, providing mentorship to your colleagues and establishing best practices that elevate the entire engineering team.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in data engineering and a desire to work in the healthcare technology space. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a deep focus on ETL processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
- A solid grasp of data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud platform environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- A proven history of mentoring others and fostering a collaborative team culture.
