What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a senior-level position that operates on a hybrid basis, requiring you to work from our Manhattan office one to two days per week. In this role, you will lead the design and development of high-performance data architectures, ensuring our data assets are optimized to support our long-term business goals.
What will you do?
- Design and maintain scalable data architectures that support both batch and streaming data processing.
- Define and execute a strategic roadmap to maximize the value of our data assets and align them with our business objectives.
- Oversee complex ETL and ELT processes while optimizing our database systems for better performance, reliability, and scalability.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have four to six years of experience in data engineering, along with a strong background in managing large datasets. We are looking for someone who is proficient in Python, AWS, and SQL. You should have a solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in an English-speaking environment and possess the analytical skills necessary to solve complex data challenges.
