The opportunity
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be the backbone of our data operations. You will join a cross-functional team dedicated to making our data processing more reliable, efficient, and scalable. Your work will directly empower our Data Scientists to extract meaningful insights, ensuring that our infrastructure can handle the demands of a fast-growing SaaS platform. You will take ownership of our data architecture and play a vital role in maturing our analytics offerings.
A day in the life
- Designing and implementing robust ETL pipelines to ingest and process data from a variety of sources.
- Building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the entire machine learning lifecycle, from experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to model data and optimize our analytics platform for high performance and reliability.
Who you are
You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys architecting systems that stand the test of time. You communicate clearly in English and thrive in a collaborative, hybrid environment. We are looking for someone who brings the following experience to the table:
- Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience working with both relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining data processing infrastructure and reporting architectures.
- Deep knowledge of modern data engineering tools such as Kubernetes, dbt, Terraform, and Redshift.
- A solid understanding of MLOps methodologies and the ability to streamline the development lifecycle for machine learning models.
