We are Notabene, and our mission is to integrate cryptocurrency into the everyday economy. Our tools help leading crypto organizations minimize transaction risks, ensuring that transfers remain safe. With a team spread across eight countries and three continents, we support over 100 customers, including major financial institutions, fintech companies, and exchanges. Our co-founders are pioneers in Self Sovereign Identity protocols, which form the core of our advanced technology stack. Backed by prominent investors like Y Combinator and Jump Capital, we are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join us on a full-time, remote basis. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the future infrastructure of the crypto industry as we continue to grow rapidly.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines while managing our data warehouse architecture to ensure performance.
- Collaborate directly with our product, engineering, and business operations teams to translate complex requirements into actionable data-driven insights and dashboards.
- Establish our data engineering function from the ground up, which includes leading and mentoring a high-performing team as our organization scales.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience in data engineering.
- Proven ability to build and maintain robust data infrastructure using tools like Airbyte, Redshift, Sigma, and dbt.
- Expertise in SQL and Python, along with practical experience working within AWS environments.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with finance and revenue leaders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a successful track record of managing and growing data teams.
- Deep understanding of data governance and security best practices, particularly regarding the handling of sensitive PII data.
