The role
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our expanding team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that offers a hybrid work environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product and engineering groups to develop a top-tier data strategy that powers our benefits guidance products. You will play a vital part in implementing data-centric models, specifically focusing on healthcare claims analysis to support our commercial partnerships.
Core responsibilities
- Develop models and analytical strategies that turn data into actionable opportunities aligned with our partners' business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize analytics needs that drive innovation and product growth.
- Conduct deep analysis to uncover trends and provide insights that improve our ability to predict and understand product opportunities.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in data and analytics, including a minimum of 2 years specifically in healthcare claims analysis. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:
- Mastery of data warehousing, data modeling, and database design.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, along with experience in SQL and R.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- A proven ability to design analytics use cases and translate complex data into clear, understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across various areas of the business.
Compensation and benefits
For candidates based in New York, the salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000. Please note that we apply a location factor to adjust this range for team members working outside of the New York area, and final placement is determined by your specific experience.
