Our Creative team helps customers discover authentic, impactful visuals by blending consumer research, proprietary data, and three decades of trend reporting. We are looking for a Senior Creative Insights Researcher to join our remote team, where you will help shape the future of visual storytelling by identifying global trends and guiding our vast network of contributors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze multi-format creative content to identify emerging themes, patterns, and market opportunities.
• Interpret proprietary sales and search data to anticipate shifts in customer interests.
• Collaborate with global marketing and sales teams to provide actionable insights that support key accounts.
• Write thought-leadership content that positions our creative offerings as industry-leading.
• Create visual boards and data-driven presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support our contributor base by providing context on visual trends and specific industry needs for future shoots.
• Mine external sources, including pop culture, world news, and consumer research, to synthesize unique insights.
• Manage subject-area lightboxes within our content management system to facilitate ongoing analysis.

Must-haves

• Fluency in both Japanese and English.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in research, advertising, marketing, or a related creative field.
• Strong visual literacy and a deep interest in photography, film, art, and popular culture.
• Proven ability to synthesize large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable ideas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple work streams simultaneously.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to advocate for data-driven decisions while maintaining strong peer relationships.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of video and filmmaking, though this is not a requirement.
