Senior Content Writer at Allworth Financial

Allworth Financial is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed Registered Investment Advisor that specializes in retirement planning, investment advisory services, and 401(k) management. Since our founding in 1993, we have built a reputation as a fiduciary firm that prioritizes client education and well-being. Recognized as a Barron's Top 40 RIA and a recipient of the National Business Research Institute’s Circle of Excellence award, we are looking for a Senior Content Writer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a vital voice for our brand, helping us translate complex financial concepts into persuasive, clear communications for our sales enablement resources. This is a hybrid position based in either the Greater Sacramento region or Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Produce engaging, high-quality content for both digital and print sales materials, such as articles, case studies, pitch decks, and infographics.
• Manage the full lifecycle of content projects, from initial research and subject matter expert interviews to final editing and design collaboration.
• Identify content gaps and translate intricate financial topics into approachable, thorough narratives that resonate with our target audience.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in communications, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in a senior content writing or copywriting role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing original work, including white papers, presentations, and other sales enablement materials.
• Expertise in the English language, including advanced grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate across divisions with sales, product, and design teams.
