We are ICF, a global consulting firm with over 9,000 employees dedicated to helping governments and international institutions solve complex challenges. Our Policy Implementation and Programmes practice is currently seeking two Senior Consultants to join our team and contribute to our work with organizations like the European Commission. This is a full-time, remote position based in Spain.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support programme-related activities, including the management of secretariats, helpdesks, expert networks, and communities of practice.
- Draft high-quality reports, presentations, and website content tailored to diverse audiences.
- Conduct research and analysis to produce thematic papers, case studies, and comparative studies.
- Oversee junior team members to ensure the quality and accuracy of written deliverables.
- Design and facilitate virtual, hybrid, and in-person workshops, including agenda development and discussion moderation.
- Contribute to business development by writing technical proposals and coordinating with subject matter experts.
- Manage specific work packages and provide support for larger programme operations.
Must-haves
- A university degree in a relevant field such as law, public policy, politics, or economics.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in public policy, government affairs, or consultancy within the EU or UK.
- A strong background in employment policy, labour mobility, and the European employment strategy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple work strands simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, including familiarity with qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with multi-national stakeholders.
- A commitment to mentoring junior staff and working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
