We are thrilled to invite you to join KPA as our new Senior Cloud & Systems Engineer. At KPA, we specialize in providing innovative software and services that help organizations manage risk and improve safety, and we are looking for a technical leader to help shape the future of our infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Director of Security & Technology, you will serve as a vital partner in our IT operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of DevOps, security, and systems administration, and who is ready to take full ownership of the platforms that keep our business running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
- Lead our infrastructure modernization efforts by transitioning us toward a fully cloud-native, domain-free environment while managing our existing Azure and AWS workloads.
- Take end-to-end ownership of our identity governance, including Entra ID, Active Directory, and conditional access, alongside our comprehensive Microsoft 365 tenant and endpoint management via Intune and Autopilot.
- Develop and maintain automation workflows using PowerShell and API integrations to eliminate manual tasks and increase our overall agility.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in both traditional systems administration and modern cloud engineering. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering, specifically within hybrid Windows and Azure environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Azure services, including Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop, and IaaS VM administration, as well as solid experience managing Microsoft 365.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, including experience with Microsoft Graph API and scripted workflows, along with a solid understanding of on-premises Windows Server components like DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with enterprise networking, preferably using Cisco Meraki, and a strong sense of security awareness.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT, or equivalent professional experience, with relevant certifications like Microsoft AZ-104 or MS-102 being a significant advantage.
- Fluency in English and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to leadership and team members.
What you'll get
We offer a competitive annual base salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000, along with an annual bonus potential of 10 percent. In addition to your compensation, you will enjoy the following benefits:
- The flexibility of a fully remote work environment.
