The opportunity
In this role, you will become a vital member of our Security Architecture team. You will not just act as an advisor, but as a hands-on architect and engineer who shapes our security culture from the ground up. You will have the autonomy to define security policies and advocate for robust, secure designs across our entire infrastructure. By bridging the gap between cloud networking, application design, and CI/CD pipelines, you will ensure that our mission is supported by a foundation of safety and resilience.
A day in the life
- You will actively prevent infrastructure breaches and data compromise by building and maintaining essential systems that secure our environment.
- You will review new system designs and architectures to ensure they meet our high security standards before they are deployed.
- You will champion security awareness across the organization and stay ahead of the latest research to ensure we can respond rapidly to any emerging threats.
Who you are
You are a curious, collaborative problem-solver who enjoys exploring how systems function beyond their standard parameters. You thrive when tackling ambiguous challenges and take pride in working closely with stakeholders to resolve complex issues. You communicate clearly in English and bring a strong technical foundation to our engineering group. You also possess the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in security, with a specific focus on cloud environments.
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud security, including authentication and authorization controls.
- Solid experience with network security and a strong understanding of application security.
- Proven ability to work with infrastructure as code and orchestration tools like Terraform and Ansible.
