About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work in a hybrid capacity to help us scale our platform and integrate with increasingly large communities. You will act as a key advisor, helping us navigate complex technical challenges and implement robust, transparent, and highly operable systems that keep our users safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and scale our AWS environment to ensure our moderation tools remain effective even in the largest online spaces.
- Create internal tooling that provides streamlined, secure access for our team members while maintaining high standards of system safety.
- Collaborate closely with our machine learning and real-time audio experts to transition research algorithms into stable, high-performance production systems.
Requirements
- Extensive experience working within a cloud service environment, with a strong preference for AWS.
- Deep proficiency in managing networking, data flow, and complex data pipelines, including work with queues and both relational and non-relational databases.
- Strong command of at least one programming language, familiarity with object-oriented programming, and a solid grasp of coding best-practice frameworks.
- Bonus: Demonstrated experience or familiarity with implementing DevOps practices.

This position is based in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position is $150,000/yr. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a hybrid work arrangement to provide flexibility for our team members.
