Senior Cloud Engineer at Cutover

The role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position designed for someone who is ready to take ownership of our infrastructure and potentially grow into a staff-level role. You will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere, or from our office in New York, as long as you are within one hour of the Eastern time zone.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture, design, and implementation of our cloud infrastructure to support our product strategy.
• Build and maintain a highly available, scalable environment using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers while collaborating across teams to deliver on our technical roadmap.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should be proficient in English and bring a deep technical background. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Extensive, advanced experience working with EKS and Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in our core cloud stack, including AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Datadog.
• A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to lead platform engineering projects and automate delivery pipelines.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby, Bash, or Python.
• A calm, analytical approach to problem-solving within complex cloud environments.

Compensation and benefits

The target base salary for this position is $160,000 to $175,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. We are committed to supporting your well-being and professional growth through:
