What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Clinical & Bioinformatics Expert to join our team on a part-time basis, typically requiring 15 to 20 hours per week. This is a senior-level position that offers a hybrid work environment. You will play a vital role in shaping our clinical products and analytics by bridging the gap between complex medical data and our internal product strategy.
What will you do?
- Act as a key advisor to our data science and product teams, providing clinical insights that drive the development and enhancement of our analytics features.
- Engage directly with customers and our Client Solutions team to define proof of concepts, demonstrate our data advantages, and help secure new partnerships.
- Serve as our internal subject matter expert on disease processes and clinical workflows, ensuring our product development remains deeply rooted in real-world clinical needs.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in both medicine and data science. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualities and skills:
- A medical degree, such as an MD or equivalent, paired with direct clinical experience.
- Proven expertise in bioinformatics and data analytics.
- A deep understanding of disease processes and how clinical workflows function in practice.
- Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to translate complex clinical concepts for non-clinical team members and customers.
- Experience managing multiple projects effectively within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Fluency in English.
It is a plus if you have previous experience in a healthcare data company, knowledge of value-based care arrangements, or a background in product development.
