The role

We are hiring a Senior C# Developer for a full-time, remote position. This is a mid-level role designed for someone who is eager to expand their technical toolkit. While your primary focus will be C#, you will receive dedicated training to learn Delphi. You will spend the next few years maintaining existing codebases, fixing bugs, and developing new features while leading the transition of our systems into a modern architecture.

Core responsibilities

• Maintain and improve our existing software while actively migrating legacy code into C#.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to develop new features and resolve technical bugs.
• Apply your expertise in MSSQL to manage database programming and scripting tasks effectively.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in software engineering and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We look for the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience working with C#.
• A degree in a STEM field.
• Solid experience with MSSQL and database scripting.
• A deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning capabilities.
• The ability to quickly understand and navigate complex, existing codebases.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• The flexibility to switch between different tasks efficiently.
• Prior knowledge of Pascal or Delphi, as well as experience with ERP systems, is considered a significant advantage.
