We are currently looking for a Senior C/C++ Low Latency Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands on a full-time, on-site basis. At Mathrix, we operate a specialized technology team focused on building high-performance systems that facilitate automated trading on global exchanges. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain low-latency networking code to ensure rapid communication with various global exchanges.
- Design and implement highly optimized data storage structures and streaming pipelines that maintain a minimal footprint.
- Optimize complex trading logic and reimplement existing code using advanced CPU features like SIMD to achieve the lowest possible compute times.
Requirements
- Extensive and thorough expertise in C and C++ within a Linux environment.
- A deep understanding of x64 hardware and the ability to analyze the assembly code produced by the compiler.
- Proficiency in using debuggers and profilers to monitor system calls and ensure optimal performance.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems like Git and a proactive, flexible approach to collaborative development.
- Bonus points for experience in network engineering or Big Data pipelines.
