Senior Business Technology Consultant at Latitudeinc

We are currently looking for a strategic Senior Business Technology Consultant to join our team in a vCIO capacity. Our firm specializes in providing high-level technology consulting services, helping organizations align their digital infrastructure with long-term business objectives. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the United States. While you will have the flexibility to work remotely, you must be comfortable traveling to client sites approximately two times per week to ensure hands-on support and relationship management.

Key outcomes

• Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies that directly support the unique business goals of our clients.
• Provide expert guidance on technology investments, system upgrades, and the implementation of tools that drive operational efficiency.
• Proactively identify and mitigate IT risks, with a primary focus on cybersecurity and data protection.
• Oversee vendor relationships to guarantee high-quality service delivery and cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain rigorous IT governance standards to ensure operations remain compliant with industry regulations and best practices.
• Manage IT budgets and financial oversight to ensure that every technology investment provides a clear return on investment.
• Collaborate effectively with internal client teams or external service providers to maintain seamless operations.
• Engage regularly with stakeholders to review performance, address concerns, and plan for future technology needs.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience in senior IT leadership roles, such as a CIO, vCIO, or Senior IT Consultant.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced technical knowledge spanning cloud computing, IT infrastructure, enterprise software, and cybersecurity.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• The ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple client accounts.
• A willingness to travel to client locations up to two times per week.

Preferred qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISM.
