Senior Business Analyst at Volkswagen Group Ireland

What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Ireland. This is a senior-level position where you will take ownership of business analysis efforts across a program of multiple, interdependent IT projects. You will be a vital part of our digital evolution, helping us bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions.

What will you do?

• Lead workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring they are effectively translated into technical specifications.
• Partner closely with solution architects and project teams to validate designs, oversee testing activities, and ensure that all business requirements are fully covered by user acceptance testing.
• Develop and maintain a robust requirements management framework, including the use of tools and templates to track project progress and ensure traceability from inception to implementation.

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically with a track record of delivering requirements for complex initiatives.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, including interviews, workshops, use cases, and user stories.
• Hands-on experience with business process modeling tools like Jira.
• A solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), are highly valued.
