As the national sales company for iconic brands like Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, SEAT, CUPRA, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, we currently hold a 25% share of the Irish automotive market. We are looking for passionate individuals to join us on this digital journey.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Ireland. This is a senior-level position where you will take ownership of business analysis efforts across a program of multiple, interdependent IT projects. You will be a vital part of our digital evolution, helping us bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions.
What will you do?
- Lead workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring they are effectively translated into technical specifications.
- Partner closely with solution architects and project teams to validate designs, oversee testing activities, and ensure that all business requirements are fully covered by user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain a robust requirements management framework, including the use of tools and templates to track project progress and ensure traceability from inception to implementation.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be an enthusiastic and proactive professional with a strong background in IT and business analysis. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically with a track record of delivering requirements for complex initiatives.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, including interviews, workshops, use cases, and user stories.
- Hands-on experience with business process modeling tools like Jira.
- A solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), are highly valued.
What's in it for you?
Joining Volkswagen Group Ireland means becoming part of the world’s largest automotive company. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that shape the future of mobility in Ireland. We are an equal opportunities employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace where your contributions are valued as we continue to grow our iconic brands.
