Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join us on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that offers the flexibility of remote work, provided you are located in one of our approved states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, D.C., Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, South Carolina, Texas, or Virginia.
Your impact
- Analyze existing business workflows and systems to pinpoint opportunities for automation, optimization, and meaningful process improvement.
- Translate complex business needs into clear specifications, user stories, and functional requirements that bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Lead cross-functional project teams by providing expert guidance on project planning, execution, and the implementation of high-quality solutions.
What you'll need
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in business analysis, specifically focusing on project management and process improvement.
- Proficiency with Jira for requirements management and a solid understanding of methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and UML.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- A self-starting attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Experience with the Veterans Benefits Administration and familiarity with Confluence for team collaboration.
