What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere in the world, provided you can align your schedule with our core hours of 9am to 5pm Pacific Standard Time. You will be a key player in our engineering department, focusing on the design and maintenance of our advanced blockchain infrastructure.

What will you do?

• Design and develop state of the art blockchain systems while ensuring your code is thoroughly unit tested, documented, and supported.
• Collaborate with our leadership team to spot new opportunities, mitigate risks, and provide technical guidance to our community and partners.
• Review code from your peers, provide constructive feedback, and act as a mentor to help grow the skills of less experienced developers.

What makes you a great fit?

You should have at least 5 years of software engineering experience and a deep passion for decentralized architectures. We value candidates who are self-directed and comfortable taking initiative to improve our systems.

• You are highly proficient in Go and have experience working with Python or JavaScript.
• You possess a strong grasp of blockchain technologies, including peer-to-peer networking, consensus mechanisms, and protocols like JSON-RPC.
• You have a solid background in distributed systems, security best practices, and containerization tools like Docker.
• You communicate effectively in English and enjoy working in a collaborative, remote environment.
