About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Bids and Proposals Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this strategic position, you will work closely with our sales leaders and application engineers to develop profitable, winning commercial proposals. This role is essential to our growth, as you will help build robust business cases for our leadership team once contracts are secured. You will be based in Melbourne and will work in a hybrid capacity, spending two to three days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end creation of commercial proposals for our energy storage technologies, ensuring they are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate with internal departments to finalize technical details, project schedules, cash flow projections, and overall project profitability.
- Evaluate pricing assumptions and key inputs, providing high-quality feedback on proposal sections to ensure our submissions remain competitive and effective.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 6 years of experience in a finance or commercial role within the energy generation or storage sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or Engineering.
- Strong project management, analytics, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in delivering high-stakes presentations and communicating complex program plans effectively.
- A willingness to travel 10 to 20 percent of the time, primarily within Australia.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a preference for candidates who have experience in public companies.
Location
This position is based in Australia, with the successful candidate working from our Melbourne office.
