Backed by prominent investors like a16z, Forerunner, BoxGroup, and PrimeSet, we are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our founding team. You will play a pivotal role in building production-grade software and defining the engineering culture that will scale our platform to millions of users.

Key outcomes

• Contribute to high-level roadmapping and architectural strategy.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality code ready for production environments.
• Take ownership of large-scale projects, guiding them from the initial concept phase through to successful deployment.
• Provide mentorship and support to cross-functional partners, including fellow engineers, product managers, designers, and business leaders.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or a related technical field with 3 to 4 years of industry experience, or 5 to 6 years of dedicated full-time backend engineering experience.
• At least one year of hands-on experience working with a web framework such as Django, Rails, or Spring.
• Deep expertise in SQL databases, with a strong preference for PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience working with APIs, webhooks, and complex system integrations.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with our core technology stack, which includes Django, Graphene, TypeScript, React, and Apollo.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and orchestration tools, specifically AWS and Kubernetes.
