What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at our headquarters in Mountain View, California. In this senior-level role, you will be a key contributor to our cloud services and web applications, specifically focusing on our FieldPrint Platform. This is an office-centric position where you will collaborate closely with our leadership and engineering teams to push the boundaries of what is possible in construction technology.

What will you do?

• Lead the technical design and implementation of cloud services that power our automated BIM-to-field solutions.
• Develop and maintain the backend infrastructure for our SaaS platform, ensuring it effectively manages the data sent to our FieldPrinter robots.
• Apply creative problem-solving to build entirely new products that help construction crews work more efficiently and accurately.

• Approximately 10 years of experience building highly responsive web applications.
• A proven track record as a key contributor to successful enterprise SaaS products.
• Strong proficiency in Go for cloud development.
• Expertise in API design, HTTP/Websockets, async web applications, data persistence, and cloud deployment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluency in English.
