Senior Backend .NET Engineer at Funda

Team Connect builds the systems that make these interactions seamless, intelligent and scalable. We are looking for a Senior Backend .NET Engineer to join us on a full-time, hybrid basis and strengthen the technical foundation behind our contact and lead-generation features.

Responsibilities

• Co-define scalable, clean architectures together with our Staff Engineer, Lead Engineers and other senior colleagues.
• Guide fellow backend engineers on modern .NET tooling while upholding best practices in code quality, documentation and agile processes.
• Align product and technical goals with the Product Manager and UX Designers to ensure sustainable delivery across cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with deep experience building and scaling backend systems using modern .NET technologies in cloud environments. You should be comfortable initiating complex initiatives and hold strong opinions on architecture, scalability and maintainability.

• Several years of hands-on .NET development in Azure-based environments.
• Proven work with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, plus infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform and Helm.
• Experience designing robust APIs and asynchronous workflows in event-driven systems, ideally using Azure Service Bus.
• Track record of mentoring peers and aligning engineering efforts with product and business needs.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus. You currently live in the Netherlands.

What we offer

We offer a salary between €5.814,58 and €6.486,34 per month based on a 40-hour contract, plus an annual bonus of up to 1.5 times your monthly salary.
