Role at a glance

This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located anywhere. We are seeking a senior-level engineer with at least six years of professional experience who is eager to dive into our Node.js codebase and help lead our technical initiatives.

Your impact

Take full product ownership of key components within our core services, including our people recommendation engines.
Optimize application performance and reliability by leveraging your expertise in databases like Postgres SQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including UX designers and data scientists, to build comprehensive, user-focused solutions.

What you'll need

We are looking for someone who combines technical mastery with a collaborative spirit. You should be comfortable communicating in English and possess the following qualifications:

At least 6 years of hands-on experience developing scalable and maintainable software systems.
Deep expertise in system design and software architecture, with mastery in languages such as Node.js, JavaScript, Golang, or TypeScript.
Proven production experience working with search applications like Elasticsearch.
A degree in a technical field like Computer Science or Engineering, though we are happy to consider equivalent professional experience.
A growth-oriented mindset and the ability to lead with empathy while keeping the big picture in mind.
