Role at a glance
This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located anywhere. We are seeking a senior-level engineer with at least six years of professional experience who is eager to dive into our Node.js codebase and help lead our technical initiatives.
Your impact
- Take full product ownership of key components within our core services, including our people recommendation engines.
- Optimize application performance and reliability by leveraging your expertise in databases like Postgres SQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including UX designers and data scientists, to build comprehensive, user-focused solutions.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who combines technical mastery with a collaborative spirit. You should be comfortable communicating in English and possess the following qualifications:
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience developing scalable and maintainable software systems.
- Deep expertise in system design and software architecture, with mastery in languages such as Node.js, JavaScript, Golang, or TypeScript.
- Proven production experience working with search applications like Elasticsearch.
- A degree in a technical field like Computer Science or Engineering, though we are happy to consider equivalent professional experience.
- A growth-oriented mindset and the ability to lead with empathy while keeping the big picture in mind.
