The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help us tackle some of the most complex engineering challenges in the industry. You will play a vital role in designing and building systems that prioritize high availability, low latency, and massive scalability. As we continue to grow, your work will ensure that our infrastructure can handle millions of simultaneous connections and high-quality video streams without missing a beat. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of product, design, and engineering experts to deliver a seamless, real-time experience that truly makes a difference in the lives of our users.

A day in the life

• You will design and implement robust, modular backend systems that maintain high performance even during significant traffic spikes.
• You will take full operational responsibility for the services you build, managing everything from deployment pipelines to infrastructure maintenance.
• You will work closely with your teammates to conduct rigorous code reviews and establish best practices, ensuring our platform remains reliable as we scale.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of experience focusing on backend development. You have a strong foundation in computer science and are comfortable working with production code in languages such as C++, Go, Java, Python, or Scala. You have a deep understanding of database systems and have successfully designed performant APIs for distributed environments. If you have hands-on experience with video streaming services or machine learning systems, you will be a fantastic fit for our team. You are fluent in English and ready to contribute to a fully distributed, hybrid team environment.
