Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Serbia. This is a full-time, on-site position for an experienced professional who is ready to take ownership of our backend infrastructure. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, build, and maintain the systems that power our identity solutions.

Your impact

• You will take an active role in shaping our technical architecture and making key decisions about the technologies we use.
• You will manage the full development lifecycle, from designing models and APIs to providing support for our systems in production.
• You will collaborate with our backend and DevOps teams to write high-quality, maintainable code that is backed by thorough test coverage.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should be a driven engineer who values clean design and effective communication. We require the following qualifications:

• At least five years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
• Extensive experience working with the Spring framework ecosystem.
• A solid grasp of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience with domain modeling and designing REST APIs.
• A deep understanding of observability tools, including logging, monitoring, and tracing.
• Fluency in English to communicate effectively with our global team.
