What you bring

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our full-time, hybrid team based in India. You will be responsible for building high-performance systems and driving technical excellence across our platform. Your daily contributions will focus on the following areas:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java applications using the Spring Boot framework.
• Collaborating closely with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to define project objectives and enhance the overall user experience.
• Identifying system bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal application performance and code quality.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least four years of professional experience in backend development and a relevant engineering degree. You should have a deep understanding of the web development lifecycle, from design to deployment. Proficiency in Java and its ecosystem, including the JVM, is essential. You should be comfortable choosing between relational and NoSQL databases and have hands-on experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to solve complex problems are vital for success in this role. Fluency in English is required to ensure effective communication within our global team.
